Volunteer Program Cost/Fee

Program costs are in Euros and very depending on the time periods:

  • 2 weeks €230.euros
  • 3 weeks €320.euros
  • 4 weeks €370.euros
  • 5 weeks €420.euros
  • 6 weeks €470.euros
  • 7 weeks €520.euros
  • 8 weeks €570.euros
  • 9 weeks €620.euros
  • 10 weeks €670.euros
  • 11 weeks €720.euros
  • 12 weeks €770.euros
  • 4 months €980.euros
  • 5 months €1180.euros

Note: If you are more then two months placement and want to do two different placements, you will be charge 50 Euros extra, please be sure, we don’t have any hidden cost behind the indicated amount.

Cash payment can be made on arrival in Euros, US Dollars, or Nepali Rupees. We also accept Western Union transfers. Although we do accept international bank transfers, we discourage this due to the high cost of banking fees.

The Program fee covers:

  • - Airport pickup and transfer to placement, pick-up and drop-off.
  • - Accommodation from the night of your arrival till the end of your Volunteering time.
  • - All meals eaten at our Volunteer center and throughout your time as a Volunteer in the Volunteer compound/camp at your project.
  • - Nepali Language classes,Sightseeing and Nepali cultural information classes during the training.
  • - Donations to support: Orphanages, Local Social Clubs and Schools in the Host Villages.
  • - Contribution to FUN-Nepal projects for resource centers, libraries, heath centers and environmental protection.

The Program fee does not cover:

  • - Medical insurance or any medical treatment .
  • - Your personal equipment.
  • - Drinks & Bar Bills.
  • - Visa purchase and extension fee.
  • - Flights (Domestic and International).
  • - Adventure activities (Trekking, Jungle Safari and Rafting).

Refund Policy

  • - 50% Refund before starting program (orientation or training).
  • - No money will be refunded once you start your placement.
  • - No money will be refunded for a program of 2 weeks duration after commencement.
  • - 25% off depending upon situation: Condition applies.

Your additional financial responsibilities

You will be responsible for your flight ticket to Nepal and visa fees which are as follows (Please, check with your embassy for the latest fee structure)

  • - $40 USD for the first two months (to be paid at the airport upon arrival)
  • - $40 USD per month thereafter
  • - Personal travel and sightseeing, if not previously agreed in package(trekking, jungle safari etc)
  • - Extra food in Kathmandu during your training laundry, internet access, telephone, and drinks etc
