Program Cost/Fee

Program costs are in Euros and vary depending on the time periods:

  • 2 weeks €230.
  • 3 weeks €280.
  • 4 weeks €330.
  • 5 weeks €380.
  • 6 weeks €430.
  • 7 weeks €480.
  • 8 weeks €530.
  • 9 weeks €580.
  • 10 weeks €630.
  • 11 weeks €680.
  • 12 weeks €730.
  • 4 months €910.
  • 5 months €1050.

Note: If you are more then two months placement and want to do two different placements, you will be charge 50 Euros extra.

For example: If you want to volunteer in Chitwan for 1 month and Pokhara for 1 month.

Cash payment can be made in Euro, US Dollars, or Nepali Rupees. We also accept Western Union transfers. Although we do accept international bank transfers, we discourage this due to the high cost of banking fees.

The Program fee covers:

  • - Transport Airport and placement pick-up and drop-off.
  • - Accommodation and main meals during placement with local family.
  • - Accommodation, Nepali Language classes,Sightseeing and cultural information classes during the training in Kathmandu.
  • - Donations to support: Orphanages, Local Clubs and Schools in the Host Villages.
  • - Contribution to FUN-Nepal projects for resource centers, libraries, heath centers and environmental protection.
  • - Staff’s salary and skill development training.
  • - Community Health Camp.
  • - Administration and Government tax.

The Program fee does not cover:

  • - Medical and Personal insurance..
  • - Drinks & Bar Bills.
  • - Visa purchase and extension fee.
  • - Flights (Domestic and International).
  • - Adventure activities (Trekking, Jungle Safari and Rafting).
  • - Food during your training and orientation in Kathmandu.

Refund Policy

  • - 50% Refund before starting program (orientation or training).
  • - No money will be refunded once you start your placement.
  • - No money will be refunded for a program of 2 weeks duration after commencement.
  • - 25% off depending upon situation: Condition applies.

Your additional financial responsibilities

You will be responsible for your flight ticket to Nepal and visa fees which are as follows (Please, check with your embassy for the latest fee structure)

  • - $40 USD for the first two months (to be paid at the airport upon arrival)
  • - $40 USD per month thereafter
  • - Departure tax of 1,800 RS (to be paid at the airport upon departure)
  • - Personal travel and sightseeing (trekking, jungle safari etc)
  • - Food in Kathmandu during your training laundry, internet access, telephone, and drinks etc
